The Canon Easy-PhotoPrint for iPhone (Canon iEPP) is a free application (for the moment only available in the US AppStore) that allows you to print photos directly from your iPhone without connecting to your computer and directly to compatible PIXMA printers via a local WiFi network.

The Canon iEPP app allows you to select from a wide range of paper sizes and paper types. You can choose multiple photos from your iPhone's Photo Albums and print up to 20 copies. It also allows to print bordered or borderless photos. When the Canon iEPP is launched, it will automatically find printers on your wireless network. You can start your iPhone camera directly from Canon iEPP, and instantly print captured photos.

The downside is that for the moment the application is only compatible with the PIXMA MP990, PIXMA MP640 and PIXMA MP560. If you don't have one of these you'll have to be patient and wait for an update which should be coming in the near future.
