Well, sometimes you come across an application for the iPhone which doesn't really have much interest other than looking really cool!
That's why I have decided to write a short review about FlipTime, an iPhone application designed by omletworks, a Tokyo based iPhone application development company.
FlipTime is a simple desk clock & calendar, designed to look like flight information boards at airports and railway stations looked years ago. The sounds used are sampled from actual clocks in order to be as realistic as possible.

Features:
- Flip panels by flicking from top to bottom
- Portrait mode
- Landscape mode
- Show next/previous month by flicking horizontally
- Reset to current month by shaking
A small video of FlipTime:

The company sent me a promo code for downloading and reviewing this application and as a footnote added following message:
We were surprised for the ".lu" domain of your site. I know SCHLECK brothers who famous bicycle racers born in Luxembourg!! I like bicycle race and they are very nice. It is very glad. thx ;)
Can you imagine that the Schleck brothers are even famous in Tokyo…who would have thought that! By the way, can you hear the Japanese accent?
