Darkness is an advanced world clock with some unique and interesting features.

Other than the clock function, Darkness will show you the time for sunrise, noon, sunset, moonrise and moonset for any city in the world on any date. Already delivered with a database of well over 20,000, any city can be added in the unlikely event that the city you wish to consult is not in the list.

A special ‘Current Location’ city can also be used, which will track your position dynamically using GPS.
Some features:
- See the times for sunrise, noon, sunset and all 3 twilights plus azimuth values
- See the current moon phase, dates for the next eight major phases, moonrise, moonset and more.

There is so much more to discover in Darkness, but I leave to you to spend some time playing around with it.
Nevertheless, you may be wondering who could be a potential user of Darkness.
- If you’re a photographer, you can use Darkness to work out where the sun or moon will be in the sky on any day at any time, present and past. Darkness will also tell you the time solar noon occurs, giving you the time of the day for the shortest shadows.
- If you’re a student, you can use Darkness to cheat on your Geography exam.
- If you’re a witch, sorcerer, werewolf or creature of the night, you can use Darkness to work out when the next full moon is.
- If you’re planning a mission to the moon, you can use Darkness to work out the day and time it’ll be the shortest distance to travel (fuel prices are pretty high these days).
Darkness does not require an internet connection.
